How long does it take?

The modules drop every week, so it’ll take 3 weeks to get access to all the content. I do this specifically so you don’t get overwhelmed.
If you’re the binging type though, and you wait until it’s all released so you can whizz through the videos without delving into the pdfs, you could get through all the material in a few hours.
But if you’re filling out the worksheets, doing the quizzes and case study, etc., you’re looking at more like 5-7 hours altogether, plus 3 hours-worth of Q&As.

Is this suitable for more advanced practitioners?

Module 1 will be a refresher for you, Module 2 might surprise you, and Module 3 and the bonus lessons are where the gold is for you. Even if you regularly discuss intuitive eating, mindful eating and body image in your work, the S.T.R.I.C.T. Nutrition Method ensures you are not overwhelming your clients and they get the right information at the right time. Think of this method as a recipe. You might have all the ingredients you need, but you need to know how much of each ingredient, in which order, and how long to cook it for! This method is a recipe you can follow to ensure results.

Isn’t this just teaching intuitive eating?

No. Most clients simply aren’t ready to eat intuitively straight away. That’s why they say things like, “If I ate whatever I wanted, I’d only eat cake!” and “I just can’t keep chocolate in the house!” The S.T.R.I.C.T. Nutrition Method guides them step by step towards intuitive eating, so they feel supported as they learn.

Is this HAES? Because my clients often need to lose weight for their health.

No. While there are a lot of good things about the Health At Every Size movement, I believe we need to acknowledge that adipose (fat) tissue is an endocrine organ and excess adipose tissue is not good for health. While the S.T.R.I.C.T. Nutrition Method purposefully takes the focus off of weight loss, this is done so that clients do not feel restricted. As they work through the method they learn to create an abundance mindset around food that helps tremendously with weight loss in the long-term. It is not a quick fix, but it is sustainable.

I’m a bit newer and this sounds like goobledegook. Will it be too advanced for me?
